Our

Rental conditions

Last updated: 18 August 2026

1. Scope

These conditions apply to the seasonal rental of the two properties offered on mapamax.fr: Le Rosa in Quend-Plage and Le Simone in Villard-de-Lans. Booking a stay implies acceptance of these conditions.

2. Booking and payment

Bookings are made on this website. A booking is final once the online payment is completed and the confirmation e-mail has been sent.

If online payment is not yet available, a booking request only becomes final after our written confirmation and the accompanying payment instructions.

3. Price and tourist tax

The displayed price includes the stay and end-of-stay cleaning. The tourist tax is shown separately during booking: it is calculated per adult per night, collected by us and paid to the municipality.

4. Security deposit

A security deposit is required for each stay; the amount is shown on the property page and during booking. The bank card is registered but nothing is charged unless damage is found. If an amount is charged, the reason is documented and communicated to the guest. The deposit is released after departure.

5. Cancellation

[To be completed by the owner. Proposal: free cancellation up to 30 days before arrival; 50% of the stay between 30 and 14 days; 100% within 14 days. Cleaning and tourist tax are always refunded.]

6. Arrival and departure

Arrival and departure times are shown on the property page and in the confirmation e-mail. Different times can sometimes be arranged: just ask us.

7. Use of the property

The number of guests may not exceed the stated capacity of each property. Parties and events are not allowed, the properties are non-smoking and pets are not admitted. Guests agree to treat the property with care and to report any incident.

8. Liability and insurance

Guests are liable for damage caused during their stay. Proof of holiday liability insurance may be requested.

9. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with article L221-28 12° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services provided on a specific date. The cancellation conditions above apply instead.

10. Mediation and applicable law

In the event of a dispute, please contact us first: most issues are easily resolved. In accordance with articles L611-1 and following of the French Consumer Code, consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [to be completed: chosen mediator and contact details]. These conditions are governed by French law.
